Specialty Pharmaceutical | A prescription for success

 pharmaceuticalClient Profile

The Client is a technology-driven specialty pharmaceutical company engaged in research, development, and manufacturing of branded and generic prescriptions and over-the-counter products. The company’s mission is to understand the science driving delivery of drugs into the body; develop and bring to market products that add value to customers/patients; and benefit their company, employees and society at large.

After multiple failed attempts to implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne using different service providers large and small, the Client could not afford another failure. Years behind, hopelessly over budget and struggling with a demoralized team, the Client began searching for a partner that could lead them forward. After evaluating two other firms, Corning Data impressed the Client with straight talk, deep engagement to really understand the project, and willingness to collaborate on a truly effective solution. Corning Data’s approach of using only senior consultants and avoiding off-shore resources addressed two key concerns that the Client believes contributed to past failures.

Corning Data Vice President John Walczak led this initial phase and was a critical success factor in building consensus, defining scope and rebuilding the confidence and support of the Client’s team and management. With John’s leadership up front and continued engagement throughout, the Client quickly learned that Corning Data was completely aligned with their team and goals. Corning Data implemented:
