Corning Data Services, Inc., a leader in the sales, implementation, and services for ERP software systems is seeking a Marketing Specialist. The Marketing Specialist will perform all aspects of “inside sales”. Activities to include but are not limited to; data entry, outbound calls to prospects and customers (campaign related), nurturing early relationships with prospects through timely follow up calls, perform customer research, support various sales and service teams, assist in the development, positioning and integrating communication strategies, utilize internet search engines and work on special projects as needed.

Data entry

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects
  • Support promotions and campaigns through outbound calls to achieve marketing goals (lead generation/white spacing)
  • Understand and leverage internet search engines
  • Assist in the set up, development and maintenance of Standard Operation Procedures
  • Provide database base management and routine database cleanup

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Marketing, Communications or related degree preferred, AS or AA in Business Administration considered
  • Must be outgoing, flexible and possess excellent organizational skills
  • Must be an innovative thinker, creative problem solver and work comfortably in a fast paced environment

Job Description       Enterprise Software Account Executive

This is a Perm Position with Base and Commission – up to 200K at Plan your first year with no Cap on Earning Potential
Territory: Mid Atlantic Region - DE, DC, MD, VA

Our client is in need of an ERP Software Account Executive to join their growing team of professionals. Requirements       A minimum of 3 years experience selling enterprise software.

Ideal candidate would have experience selling Oracle or JDEdwards Software, however this is NOT mandatory
The senior account manager must be able to communicate with all levels of client personnel, especially C-level employees for midsize to large corporations. This includes leading meetings and conducting presentations. The account manager must be highly skilled at public speaking and leading meetings.
The account manager must have a vision for how customers can effectively manage and improve their businesses using our products, which include ERP and business analytics (business intelligence) tools. The account manager must be able to communicate that vision to the customer so that he too adopts it.
You must be able to help the customer create the expectation that our state-of-the-art software tools will help him improve his business, not just manage mundane transactions.
The account manager must have at least 3 years experience working with customers, successfully growing customer relationships and meeting revenue targets, preferably for a software company. However, exceptionally good candidates without this exact background will be considered, but they must be able to explain how their backgrounds will lead to future success in this role.
The account manager must have a proven history of developing and implementing creative approaches to solving customer issues. Prior experience servicing customers for a software company is highly desired, and other backgrounds will be considered. Persons with a background in ERP software implementation consulting are encouraged to apply.
The account manager must be able to quickly master complex software from an end-user perspective (not a technical perspective) and to translate software functionality into quantifiable business benefits for clients.
The account manager will be responsible for clients located throughout the Mid Atlantic region. The account manager will need to develop strong relationships with each client and have a thorough knowledge of each client, which includes personnel, products, growth plans, and challenges.

Must have experience with multiple versions of the E1 software and at least 5 years experience with E1.
